Very homey place for all the people living in thorncliffe area. Before this Mosque was built we would gather in near by warehouse to pray. Now a decade later we have a proper mosque even though there was a long battle in court for approval of its construction.

I didn't feel welcome in this mosque at all. I am from a different ethnic group and I felt singled out here.

I just wish they would do more English Khutba. So frustrating for Kids and people who do not know Urdu.

I had chance to visit this mosque once when I was visiting the area. It is very spacious and clean. The management is kind of old school. I would say pure Desi style. Danday kay zoor pur sub Kuch. I didn't feel connected Plus the Khutba was typical style and in Urdu. I was left guilty and irritated afterward same as I would in Pakistan.

I live in the area but I feel that it is just a mosque for Men. I have never felt welcomed here. There isn't much to do here for sisters. I have had experienced Copper Mosque and this mosque doesn't do enough for Youth and Women.

I felt so at home. No home sickness at all when you are inside the mosque. My kids attend Evening School and I couldn't be happier. I wish they also cater to English Speaking people.

This mosques is been in news a lot for different controversies/Issues. The latest is the Friday prayer in the close by Public School. I don't know if the prayers were started but there was an uproar. They definitely stir the pot. I just wish that they would also back there actions with plausible arguments so that Religion of Islam is Served properly. I just feel that every time Muslim community is pulled in deep.
