Its very easy to complain, without adding a constructive suggestions to improve the situation. Its natural that there will be noises coming out of the sisters side, because they do the hard job of bringing the kids and managing them. The men side does not have to face that.So I ask the brothers to stop comlaining on this issue or they take care of the kids. And its imperative that children should come to the mosque.

I go there for taraweeh. It is close to my home so it is convenient but the noise level in the room close to exit was a lot. Moved to the room farther (There are two rooms) and it was better. Didn't like the disarray at iftar. Women were holding on to food and filling there plates like crazy. I didn't feel like eating at all. It was a bazaar. Really sad.

Like the Display system and speaker. Khutba on non-busy days is very nice. I attended the congregation when Junaid Jamshed was in Mississauga. I sat in the Far room of the Sister Wing and it was nice and quiet. If you sit in the room that is closer to Main Gate then there is lot of disturbance.

It used to be a good mosque back in days but now it is getting boring and seems like Victim of bad management.

Musallah Area was Clean. Not sure about the washrooms. Lots of noise though in sister side and it is hard to concentrate on Khateeb. Lots of Advertisement by Imam and there were too many pauses during the Khutba. Felt a disconnet.

It has nice spacious are for praying both on Men and Women side. Washrooms are not very nicely kept. I had a hard time locating it. Management of the Mosque is not very good. Kids running and screaming going through people praying and no one stopping them. I didn't enjoy the Khutba either as there were lots of calls for donations. It just takes too long for khutba to finish.

 Islam in Toronto!

he Greater Toronto Area has one of the most ethnically diverse Muslim communities in the World and it is continuously expanding. According to Canada's 2011 National Household Survey, there were 1,053,945 Muslims in Canada or about 3.2% of the population, making them the second largest religion after Christianity. In the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), 7.7% of the population is Muslim, and in Greater Montreal, Muslims are 6% of the total population. Hence Muslim Population in GTA during 2011 was 494,186 which is growing every year rapidly. Surely now it much more than 550,000.

With growing population the need for Islamic Centers, Muslim Schools and businesses that support Islamic way of life has increased too. GTA house some of very prominent Mosques and well established Schools in Canada. Many programs and events are organized under these Islamic bodies.

alal is the Arabic word for permissible, and in dietary law it is used to refer to foods that are permitted for Muslims to eat. This usually means that meat comes from animals that have been slaughtered in accordance with the dictates of Islamic law. The Need to eat hand slaughtered halal meat has created a big demand of Muslim Farms. On Eid-Ul-Adha, Muslim prefer to slaughter their animals themselves. Although you can also give money to various Muslim Meat shop and they can arrange Qurbani for you.
